Being ready for the end of life is important, no matter what age you are. Many people aren’t sure how to begin the conversation or what they need to talk about. Discussion helps ensure that you and your loved ones receive care and support aligned with your wishes

The word "doula" is Greek for servant or helper. Just as a birth doula supports women during the labour and birthing process, an end-of-life doula supports a person during the dying process.

As a End-of-life-doula consultant, Denyse empowers and encourages dying member and family to discuss and make the important decisions that need to be made.

Their services include education and facilitating discussions about advance care planning, goals of care and consent. Denyse provides compassionate emotional care to the dying family member and families to ease anxiety and provide comfort, and advice on self-care, grief and bereavement and end-of-life options.
